A high-speed metal circular saw machine is a type of sawing machine that can precisely and quickly cut various metal materials. It is a common cutting machine in the current market. It mainly uses the inclined sawing method of the saw blade to complete this precise processing cutting process. Many customers have reported that when using the circular saw machine, they do not know how to install and maintain the saw blade, and each time they need to contact the after-sales personnel for video guidance before they can replace and maintain it themselves. Today, we will publish an article about the installation inspection and after-sales maintenance of high-speed circular saw machines, for your reference.
I.What are the key points to consider when using the saw blades/tools of a high-speed circular saw?
1. Installation Inspection:
Before installation, clean the main shaft and flange disc of debris to ensure that the diameter of the flange disc is 1/3 to 1/2 of the saw blade diameter.
Confirm that the rotation direction of the saw blade is consistent with the main shaft of the machine, and run it for 30 seconds without any abnormalities before starting work.
The flange nut should be neither too loose nor too tight; if it is too loose, it will slip, and if it is too tight, it may cause damage to the saw blade.
2. Operating Standards:
Must wear protective glasses, dust masks, and protective gloves. It is strictly prohibited to touch the rotating saw blade with bare hands.
The feed speed should be uniform. If vibration, abnormal sounds, or rough cutting surface are detected, stop the machine immediately for inspection.
When cutting different materials, adjust the rotational speed and feed rate. For example, when cutting aluminum materials, control the feed speed to prevent the blade from sticking.
3. Safety Protection:
The circular saw blade must be equipped with a protective cover. Without a protective cover, it is strictly prohibited to use.
Do not use saw blades with cracks or more than two consecutive missing teeth.
Long hair should wear a work cap, and cuffs and ties should be tightened to avoid being caught.
II. How can the saw blade of a metal circular saw machine be maintained to last longer?
1. Cleaning and Maintenance:
After each use, use a dedicated cleaning agent and a soft brush to remove debris, resin, and oil stains on the saw blade surface.
Avoid using corrosive solvents for cleaning to prevent damage to the teeth and coating.
Regularly check if the saw blade has cracks, deformation, worn teeth, or broken teeth.
2. Grinding Standards:
When the cutting quality declines, energy consumption increases, or the alloy edge wears down to 0.2mm, grinding is required.
The grinding should be done by a professional manufacturer. Do not change the original angle to avoid disrupting the balance.
After grinding, perform a dynamic balance test to ensure stability during high-speed rotation.
3. Storage Method:
When not in use, it should be placed flat or hung vertically on a dedicated frame with an inner hole. Avoid stacking to prevent deformation.
For long-term storage, clean the blade, apply oil for rust prevention, and store it in the original paper box for proper preservation.
The storage environment should be kept dry and ventilated to prevent rust.
